Frost
This was my last project for my last semester in college. Holy moly I cannot believe four years have gone by so quickly. This was done in watercolor and then scanned in and worked on some more digitally in photoshop. I got two of my friends/fellow classmates to pose for me. So big thanks to them. I am going to go and work on this a bit more in a couple of weeks after I return from my trip to Israel! Mega excited for that.

Updates
So I just realized that I never posted the finished version of my Elf warrior on here, so here it is. I went back into it digitally and really added in quite a few changes, with the color especially. It was all thanks to my awesome mentor Tyler Jacobson, who assigned me this project to begin with.
In another note, I got this piece along with my Winter's Sons, and Teddy Roosevelt painting into the student senior show at my school. Very excited to have my work featured next to all my amazingly talented classmates. Seriously, the show is going to be epic, what with all the amazing artwork I saw submitted into the show.

Next Project
So this is an assignment given to me by the awesome Tyler Jacobson, for one of my classes. It's for a book cover. I don't want to write too much about it since I may make a few changes to this sketch, but otherwise I am pretty happy with it. Just wanted to post what I have been up to. My fellow friends and classmates, Katie and Ross, were kind enough to pose for me.
Jon Snow: Retake
So I went back into this painting so I can submit it to the senior show at my school. I punched up the colors and a few other details in it. I am much happier with how it looks now. All the changes were made digitally. I also gave this painting a name, Winter's Sons.

Jon Snow

So for one of the projects from our current semester we got to illustrate whatever we wanted. And I mean anything. So I chose to do an illustration of one of my favorite characters from my favorite book series, A Song of Ice and Fire. The character is Jon Snow and his "pet" wolf Ghost, both of whom are property of George R. R. Martin. If you haven't read the books I highly recommend them. I will go back into this piece and tweak a few things, but I really wanted to post it so far. Done in watercolor with white gouache.

A Song of Ice and Fire

So for my next project I will be doing an illustration of Jon Snow and his pet wolf Ghost, both from the book series "A Song of Ice and Fire". This is what I have after my last critique, the sketch may eventually go through another really minor adjustment, but overall, I am happy with it so far. I'm really excited to start working on it.
